The awards comprised of 13 categories, starting with College Stylist of The Year and culminating in the coveted Stylist of The Year Award. As each category was announced, the proud winners gave very warming and appreciative speeches on the importance of winning their award.

It was a double celebration for Charlotte, whose winning collection was inspired by Africa and an old photograph of her mother, as Hair Lounge also bagged Styling Team of The Year.

The evening didn’t end there as guests networked and partied into the morning and winners celebrated another year of Afro hairdressing recognition.
